Reconsideration vs Appeal
Older guides often use the word reconsideration. The current SRD service tells declined applicants that they have a right to appeal the SASSA decision with the Department of Social Development for each declined month. Use the process presented for the specific declined period instead of relying on an old screenshot.
Appeal the Exact Month
SRD outcomes are month-specific. Read the decline reason, choose the affected month and provide truthful information that directly addresses that reason.
